Langsat

Langsat is a tropical fruit from Southeast Asia. It is about 3 cm in diameter. The skin is cream in colour while the flesh is translucent and comes in sections or arils, just like the orange. The seed is bitter and is not eaten. This seasonal fruit can be found in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. When the fruit is in season, one can see temporary stalls put up by the roadside selling langsat.
