Canistropsis billbergioides is a species of bromeliad in the family Bromeliaceae, endemic to Brazil. It comes in many colorful varieties, and flowers from May to September.

Canistropsis billbergioides is small to medium in size, and grows 30-45 cm tall. It bears large, green leaves and produce a central, clustered head of color in showy yellow, orange, pink or red. The colored bracts remain vivid for 3-4 months.

Canistropsis billbergioides grows well in shady area, or areas that don't receive a lot of afternoon sun.
