Introducing Box Plants, plants for the window sills

Box Plants are plants that you can grow in plant boxes, either on your window sills, on your verandah or balcony. These plants require a semi-shady position. Even if there is direct sun, it should not be for the entire day. Plants that fit this category are quite happy in plant containers as well as in hanging baskets. On the whole, plants that are suitable for the window sills require more sunlight than would those you keep indoors the whole time. The serve to act colour to your window. Many plant enthusiasts provide a fairly wide window sill so that a row of flower pots or a plant box can fit there.

Below are plants that we recommend for the window sill.
